About our club
The Orrville Farmer & Sportsman's Club is deeply committed to outdoor education, conservation, and recreation. Our 28-acre property, featuring a 7-acre stocked lake, provides a vital space for the Hudson, Ohio community to connect with nature. We believe in providing enriching experiences for all ages.
Making an impact
We're proud of our impact on the community through various programs. From free kids' fishing derbies and mentorship programs to certified hunter education safety classes and providing a collaborative space for the Boy Scouts of America, we foster growth and appreciation for the outdoors.
Our programs and events
Education & safety
Certified hunter education safety classes
Our comprehensive courses teach responsible hunting practices, firearm safety, and wildlife conservation. Essential for new and experienced hunters.
Outdoor skills workshops
Learn valuable outdoor skills, including knot tying, wilderness first aid basics, and navigation techniques from experienced instructors.
Conservation awareness programs
Engage in discussions and activities focused on preserving local ecosystems, understanding wildlife habitats, and promoting environmental stewardship.
Boy Scouts of America collaboration
We provide a dedicated space and resources for scouting activities, helping young people develop leadership, character, and outdoor skills.
Recreation & community
Free kids' fishing derbies
An exciting opportunity for children to experience the joy of fishing, complete with mentorship and prizes, all completely free.
Family nature days
