Our story and mission
Discover the heart behind Orrville Farmer & Sportsman's Club, a non-profit dedicated to fostering a love for the outdoors in our community.

Our mission and growth
The Orrville Farmer & Sportsman's Club began with a clear vision: to promote outdoor education, conservation, and recreation. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, we are proud to offer a 28-acre property in North Lawernce, Ohio, featuring a 7-acre stocked lake. This vital space allows our community to connect with nature, learn valuable outdoor skills, and enjoy the beauty of our local environment. We have grown steadily, nurturing a community that values the outdoors and active participation.

What makes us unique
What sets the Orrville Farmer & Sportsman's Club apart is our unwavering commitment to community engagement and hands-on education. We host free kids' fishing derbies and mentorship programs, inspiring the next generation of outdoor enthusiasts. Our certified hunter education safety classes ensure responsible practices, and we provide a collaborative space for the Boy Scouts of America, fostering leadership and outdoor skills. These programs highlight our dedication to providing accessible and impactful outdoor experiences for everyone.

Making an impact together
One of our greatest joys is seeing families spend quality time together, creating lasting memories at our club. Whether it's a parent teaching their child to cast a line for the first time, or a group of scouts learning wilderness survival skills, these moments underscore the positive impact we have. We believe that fostering these connections strengthens both individuals and our community, making our club a cherished place for growth, learning, and family fun.
"The Orrville Farmer & Sportsman's Club has been a wonderful place for my family to connect with nature and each other. We cherish the memories we make here."
